Secrets should never be used to protect someone else’s comfort
Heavy on teaching my kids that safe adults don’t ask children to keep secrets.
If someone ever says, “Don’t tell your mom,” or “Don’t tell your dad,” that’s a red flag.
In our house, we talk about everything. No topic is too big, no feeling is too small, and no adult is above being questioned.
I’m raising kids who know they can come to me. Always. No matter what.
Because secrets should never be used to protect someone else’s comfort at the cost of my child’s safety.
