I'm learning to let go, to rise above the pain,

To not react to every hurt, every bitter rain.

I'm discovering that maturity means walking away,

Not seeking revenge, but choosing a brighter day.


The energy I once wasted on anger and strife,

Now fuels my growth, my peace, my inner life.

I'm embracing that I won't please everyone's taste,

And that's okay, for I'm finding my own pace.


I'm slowly learning that not reacting doesn't mean,

I'm okay with the hurt, but that I'm choosing to be serene.

I'm taking the lesson, rising above the fray,

Choosing peace of mind, every single day.


I'm breaking free from drama, fake connections, and pain,

Embracing my worth, my enough, my inner gain.

I'm finding my voice, my strength, my inner might,

Learning to respond, not react, to the darkness of night.


I'm discovering that silence can speak volumes loud,

That sometimes, not saying a word, says everything, proud.

I'm taking back control, my emotions, my heart,

Choosing to let go, to rise above, to never depart.


In this journey to inner peace, I'm finding my way,

Learning to love myself, each and every day.

I'm embracing my growth, my lessons, my strife,

And choosing peace of mind, as my guiding light in life.
