BACK TO THOSE INNOCENT DAYS
Remember your
childhood days…what we all do in
our school life,our parents compare us
with our friends and siblings…at times rude and foul in their language to
say you are so dull,you are so inactive you can’t do anything ..just look at
your friends,your cousins,your brother/sister..they got these many marks,they
are going to get admission in a good college,they are so good…why are you
always playing,roaming here and there..wasting time.you don’t have
concentration in your studies.while they have this attitude i was busy in my own dream world.I was quite happy with my way of being…playing gallery/stapu..making
friends,swinging on swings…playing with birds/pets…doing contri parties…roaming
here and there,doing road trips,filling piggy banks and feeling rich enough to
afford an extra icecream with wafers on some days…awesome days!!A time filled
with joy and freedom with no boundaries and prejudices,no pressures except that
of parents and their scolding i started growing up..and get to see the world
around..my friends have taken a different path…they have all started growing
up…oh they have become serious with studies and started on a new journey…fun,innocence,sharing
is replaced with words like “ coaching,entrance,stream,rank” ..I suddenly realized
I will lack behind if I don’t join in the race,may be this only is the life..at
some point of time you have to forget your spirit,your flight for
making yourself fitin in the so-called
life.ok…let me do my 10th then there is fun ahead…now 11th
is a tough stage..pay attention…12th Boards..very important…after
this school is over ,college life fun is ahead..then you enter an adult life…you
enjoy..but you have started becoming serious now for your career..race…race and
race…how can you escape it…when there is herds of sheep all around…definition and
ways of fun have changed now…forget innocence and flight of dreams…we have learned
advanced ways of fun elements in life…legpulling,ragging,minding other people’s
business,groupism,commenting on other people’s progress,back biting, making bf/gf
,flaunting dresses and accessories,partying,befriending on social media ,watching
movies etc.
all this has made me move away from my clarity,transparency,simplicity,innocence,easiness and oneness with life…and become more of choosy,judgemental,emotionally vulnerable and superficial in my ways.I have started to feel life is a race, competition and a gamble in contrast to my childhood’s definition of life as a magic..a dream..a game..a dance..a song to sing..I have started to become trapped now…The spark you have started on to lose…you have started to move away from self and the impact of unreal world started getting on your real inner world,you are growing up now…beware!!now you enter an office life…all the more growth….professional work environment…a smiling face, a handshake,team work,management.all the more race here , skills,projects,performance,efficiency,productivity,output,credit,favourtism,criticism,gossiping,team outings.no need to open up the inner instincts and feelings of humble profile truthful person,just few words,I would say…a jungle safari…an up hill climb,river crossing and taming..Now my lunch time,dinner time,rest time,play time,reading time,”feeling oneness with nature “time,giggling time,family time all moving away...easy entertainment,easy news ,easy reading,easy socializing all through internet…eating..so easy..at café!! going closer to nature…?ahhh...team outings or through television and other virtual media…or may be holidaying sometimes with family…Now,ask yourself…How are you feeling…do you feel connected with yourself or with the beauty and fragnance of relationships and nature around.Do you feel healthy in mind and body…are you free from anger,jealousy,hatered and frustration.Do you feel fulfilled in life…or you feel there should be something more in life…bliss,inner peace,innocence,inner spark/drive,creativity ,fun and values…If yes remember and Get back to those precious days of life..learn,unlearn and Relearn is the way!!
