RAJYOGA:PATH TO LIBERATION IN LIFE

From time immemorial,there is a lot of praise sung for purity,celibate life.It is this power of purity which was there in our ancient saints and sages that made them praise worthy..world gurus…It is this power of purity that gives one tej(brightness),sri(beauty),pragya(knowledge) and yash(fame).It is this power of purity which makes  a peace less soul peaceful when he enters in the energy field of a sidhh yogi.It is this power of purity which made even the violent animals in forest bow down in front of our ancient rishis who used to do tapasya in the forests.It is the power of purity that made people themselves come from far away  places to feed and give necessary commodities for life sustenance to a sadhak doing his saadhna in a cottage or cave in a far away forest/mountain.Now what makes a person a yogi…It is the realization that sensory pleasures are temporary source of fulfillment for the soul,that’s why they renounce the worldly comforts for attaining a higher state of existence and experiencing fulfillment and realization of God.They see world as illusion and mere deception and therefore takes the path of sanyas for doing their sadhna and tapsaya.There are many hath kriyas ,sitting or standing in certain postures,eyes closed,breathing controlled ,chanting upon few mantras ,rotating rosary etc for concentrating their energies  of mind and other senses  in one direction.This is Hath yoga.
On the other hand ,there is Rajyoga,where there is no physical exercise rather just being a ruler of self.We,as common man have family whom we love,we have duties to accomplish, and an aim in life to live life fully…experience love in relationships,celebrate the joy of living,be power of  authority of our knowledge and skill  in our jobs .We have profound desire to lead a life of dignity free from sorrow,prejudices,labels,falsehood ,evil,corruption,favoritism,false pride,burden,addictions,weaknesses and dependencies etc. Ok,we want all positives and no negatives i.e we want to lead a life of higher state of existence  while living in the materialist world.We can’t change the world issues that we termed as negative above  but surely we can change ourselves  by disciplining our senses  and filtering the information that we are taking in through our readings,seeing,listening etc to change our inner world.There is a fact,that what you think is what you become and that’s what you attract it in your life i.e you manifest reality by your thought power. Focusing your attention on elevated,pure and positive  thoughts  in our minds while doing all our actions is what is called higher consciousness  which helps us in becoming like a swan who separates pearls from stones.It is in this state that one is free from all the negativity or darkness around and is able to lead a peaceful and blissful life,a jeevan mukt life…liberation in life and become a radiator of peace,love,Happiness,purity,power all around.This is Rajyoga,self sovereignty. In this stage one can feel the connection with almighty supreme father,who is the ocean of all spiritual energies. Now this pure spiritual knowledge of God is well understood when we lead a celibate life.Actually it is the purity which is the mother of peace and happiness. There are lot of benefits of purity..memory power,Health,longevity,vitality,concentration,boldness,courage,determination and patience.It is our power of purity which is the basis of our connection with God  as we are moving towards soul purification and higher state of being.We can start on our journey with small steps by first simply studying ,understanding  and experimenting the knowledge then can go to higher steps.
